exactly what errors/warnings are emitted by the compiler? without
those, we are probably not able to help. (for that matter, it would
probably help if you also listed your distribution, distro version,
kernel version, whether you built your own kernel or not, what version
of gcc ("gcc --version"), what version of glibc, what version of
portsentry and/or sxid, etc).
basically, the more information, the better.
inferring what port sentry does from its name, i'd guess that maybe
you don't have the kernel headers installed or linked properly. but
we could probably give you a better answer if you give us the
information i mention above.
