See the @ sign in there?  Most web browsers take everything BEFORE
that to mean a username (and sometimes a password).  What you were
really accessing was:


That page ain't run by Microsoft.com.  Look up in the upper right
corner of the page, and you'll see more stuff confirming this.  (Would
microsoft.com have a reference to bestiality.net on any of their
pages?  Not bloody likely!)

You're right, it is funny, however.

As a side note, this trick has been used MANY times... One of the more
eye-popping ones was when cnn.com was 'hacked' using this technique.
It catches a lot of people off guard, and they think it's legit.
