> Anyone having problems with accessing Qwest's DNS servers from linux?
> I have this configuration:
> Linux ------>
> Firewall -> Actiontek 701 ---> Internet
> Windows ----->
> On the linux box, the command
> host www.google.com 184.108.40.206
> times out.
No problems here:
$ uname -r
$ host www.google.com 220.127.116.11
Using domain server:
www.google.com is an alias for www.l.google.com.
www.l.google.com has address 18.104.22.168
www.l.google.com has address 22.214.171.124
www.l.google.com has address 126.96.36.199
www.l.google.com has address 188.8.131.52
Linux box --> DD-WRT router w/static ip --> Actiontec in transparent
bridge --> FRII/Qwest DSL.
My /etc/resolv.conf lists a local caching server and 2 FRII DNS servers.
