Not quite, Lori. Ubuntu provides the same facility. Whatever variant
you start with (ubuntu, kubuntu, xubuntu), you merely need to install
the other variants,
apt-get install xxx-desktop, where xxx is ubuntu,kubuntu,ubuntu.

The three live quite well together except for one minor wrinkle. The
overzealous ubuntu (gnome) folks are determined to implement totem
(doesn't work most of the time for me) as the video/mp3 player of
choice for Firefox. Since I prefer mplayer (works just fine), I have
to remove the plugin links for totem every time I see a totem update
otherwise Firefox will try to use totem.
