I woke up this morning, picked up the old HP laptop next to the bed to read
my mail, and found the screen had broken during the night. It has big black
blotches and streaks leaking in from the right edge.
I ordered a 13" Acer chromebook from Amazon that'll arrive on Friday, for
just over $200. In for a penny, in for a pound.
It's supposed to be slower than the C720, but have longer battery life (11
hours running). If nothing else, that will be one noticeable improvement
over the HP which had dropped to about half an hour, unplugged.
Will I like it? I'll see.
